I'm Charles, a 27-year-old graphic designer living in Chicago. 
This site serves as my online portfolio, and I'm very happy to share my work with you.

A bit about me–I earned my BFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011, and I've been working at
a design firm since 2004. I love what I do–design isn't just
a job to me, it's a passion of mine and something I pursue in my free time as well.  

​

I'm the kind of person who notices each typo, poor kerning
job, or bad clip on every billboard or website I see. I bring my perfectionism and attention to detail into every project I undertake, and I don't believe in representing myself with anything less than my very best effort. 



I have done extensive work in every step of the print process, from digital photography, retouch and layout to pre-press, completing work for clients like Sears-Craftsman, Kenmore, Sony and Die Hard. I have also recently gained a lot of experience in the digital design realm, developing iPad apps for the Art Institute of Chicago Member Magazine as well as
the Member Magazine of the Getty in Los Angeles.
